ISHINE RECORDS’ TEEN TRIO THE RUBYZ RECEIVE HONORARY GRAMMY FROM MUSIC ICON BONO

Nashville, TN … April 1, 2008 … Amidst their freshman self-titled release hitting stores today, iShine Record’s The Rubyz recently received an honorary Grammy award from music legend Bono.

The U2 front man awarded the trio with the “New Female Trio of the Year With Members Under the Age of 18/Rising Stars of Tomorrow” Grammy award, a first-time category for the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.

“We were immediately blown away by Bono’s support and this amazing recognition,” says Advocate Entertainment general manager Troy Collins. "On behalf of The Rubyz, we would like to thank the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, the families of The Rubyz and U2 for giving us music that inspires us!”

Following in the successful sound of today’s hottest teen stars, The Rubyz’ debut album was produced by Chris Omartian (Hilary Duff, Pink, Jump5) with Executive Producer singer/songwriter Joy Williams. The album’s fresh pop sound is filled with moral lyrics that are sure to be grasped by tweens and teens alike while championing the cause of the everyday girl with songs such as “Thirteen” and new radio single “In My Life.”

Up next for the new teen sensation, The Rubyz will embark on the spring leg of the iShine tour this May.

As a flagship group for Advocate Entertainment’s iShine label, helmed by President and CEO Robert Beeson, Cammie Hall (17), Alexis Slifer (14) and Marissa Milele (13) were hand picked from hundreds of hopefuls to form The Rubyz and ultimately, according to Beeson, fill a void for the younger market that is “hungry for music.”
